In 2014, industry leader Sahel Majali founded the Mid Group, which has in the intervening years grown to be a major player in the industry. Today, the Mid Group is one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the UK. The Group comprises several companies, covering the range of different specialisms required in the sector.
The goal of the Mid Group is to deliver projects with the client’s needs at heart, in a dynamic and efficient manner. Communication is critical to this process, and the Mid Group strives to put communication and the client relationship at the heart of business.
Sahel Majali, Chairman of the Mid Group, utilises his many years of experience working with major industry players to deliver excellent solutions.
Delivering Excellence in Several Fields
The Mid Group covers a range of areas, delivering construction of educational, commercial and residential projects. Mid Group companies are delivering several schools, including the cutting-edge Broxbourne School project, which is due for completion in 2021. The PDF attached to this post has more information about the Mid Group’s delivery of school construction.
The Mid Group's School Construction Projects |
As part of the Greatfields Zone 1 renovation project in East London, the Mid Group successfully delivered the Greatfields Primary School, which represents the first stage of a major regeneration project in this part of London, which was delivered in 2017. Eventually, Greatfields will deliver 1,500 new residential properties, 10 secondary schools, and three primary schools,
In the residential sector, the Mid Group is currently working on Charles Simmons House, a major construction project that faced a number of key challenges at the early stages. The project required a major demolition operation before construction began. Since the project is situated over two active train tunnels and a major piece of sewer infrastructure, careful planning and adaption of design was required, and the Mid Group worked closely with the client to achieve this. The project is expected to be completed in 2020, and will comprise a mixed-use commercial and residential space, with a community centre.
An Award-Winning Company
As might be expected of a leader in the field, the Mid Group has been nominated for many awards and has won several, including Best Use of Hybrid Technology (2019) and Contractor of the Year (2018). Accreditations include BIM Level 2 Accreditation; it is the Mid Group’s use of BIM technology which allows it to deliver streamlined and efficient project design to the client.
